This Is How Land Life Change Birds Abilities

Most of the birds evolve into nonflying birds after living in the islands. Birds like Dodo, Kakapo, Kiwi and more than 1000 other bird species evolved by that way. This is due to the fact that in less danger from predators, the birds do not fly frequently. After some time their wing muscles got weaker. Large-scale comparison of bird species living in islands and mainlands showed that mainland birds have stronger wings when island birds have stronger and longer legs. Such changes are characteristic for hummingbirds, which spend all their life in fluttering .
